Do I have to be a resident of Forsyth County to get a library card? I live in Guilford County but this is the closest library to me that I know of

Laura, thanks for asking! Anyone living in a county touching Forsyth can receive a free Forsyth County library card. We serve many Guillord County residents here. To issue you a full privilege library card, all we'll need is for you to visit our library with a picture ID showing your current address. If your ID does not show your address, please also bring an official piece of mail with the current address. Creating a card should only take a few minutes.
