To purchase fuel at the LOWEST PRICES IN THE 5 COUNTY METRO AREA, you'll need to purchase an annual Sam's club membership for $45 (I think). It is WELL worth it: they consciously price this Sam's lower than the Burnsville Costco, Lakeville FleetFarm, the Burnsville gas Plaza (direct from Koch refiners, get a 7 cent discount) & just to beat anyone on "the sheet." This Sam's & Walmart SuperCenter also are lower priced al 82% of ALL ITEMS IN STOCK, the same on the remaining 18%. This is a holdover from when they were "making it worth your while" to drive down. Now with the grocery pickup, people come from South Minneapolis to Shakopee to pickup groceries, get gas, go home - and still save $12 despite the 35 mile drive because of the access to low priced good fuel, the phenomenal selection of food stuffs at a good price (just get most produce elsewhere -- produce at this site frequently has a characteristic smoky flavor, and is sticky that can't be washed off (tomatoes, greens, etc)
