Well, my uncle Henry once traded a 3 legged pig for a pallet of year old fertizer. Somewhat of a decent trade except for the fact the fertizer came in 2 gallon barrels.
Shouldn't be a problem, because it's a debit card and not a credit card they can return you cash. Also, they have the info in their system, to put the money back on your card.
With the receipt, if a purchase is on a "debit" card, they will give you a cash refund or put it back on the card, however, they usually do need the card to do that. No doubt with all the system upgrades, etc., they can probably do it without the card these days. It all depends on their accounting system. Buying in-store and online are completely different systems when it comes to processing and issuing refunds.
It all depends on the store of their return policy. Not everyone is the same
