I have seen videos of people jumping off the rocks and I really want to do it! But is the water deep enough?

Yes the area where you jump in is deep.

We were just up there and watched younger people playing in the river. They were kinda just easing into the water as it came down the last fall and being washed down river. They looked like they were having a really good time. Never seen anyone actually jump into the river, but it does appear to be deep enough.
