I was just there like 2 weeks ago and didn't see one, but I think it's safe to say that overnight camping is prohibited, if that's what you're suggesting. For that I would contact the Essex County Parks and Recreation Department or The Verona Police Department and ask them about any required permits or fees. If you're talking about utilizing it for sun shading purposes while on a day trip, I would tell you that if it is there I'd imagine the likelihood of it being unoccupied are rather slim, but possible. Kind of a first come, first serve thing. On the other hand there are sun shades and benches installed within the playground itself and there are public restrooms as well. Enjoy!
