Hi Rebecca! Most women describe the in office procedure as pressure with menstrual type cramps, it only takes 3-5 minutes. Included in the price of the procedure is a light conscious sedation. We also have heavy sedation which is not necessary, but we do have it available for someone who may want something a little extra. The abortion pill is usually described as menstrual type cramps.
