No appointments and even if you do get in you’re not allowed to have your phone. I’m glad I saw that I would freak out without my phone because I feel I have to have it to be safe. My phone and my keys are always with me. This wouldn’t have worked out either way.

If you are looking for a warm friendly atmosphere this is not it! When first entering I got greeted but when I ask a question the receptionist proceeded to ask say! “ I don’t handle that “ and left it there. I am big on etiquette and manners she’s not compassionate to the environment she works in. Also they have no real ultrasound tech on staff ! She couldn’t tell if my miscarriage was incomplete or if I was carrying a live pregnancy , but still stated that have to take my money for the services they provided. By me being a registered nurse if you looking for help and want to be treated with real licensed providers and or techs don’t take your money here! The manager was warm , kind and understanding but it don’t excuse the unprofessionalism and unlicensed staff they have on hand. Now they tell me I can’t get services but took my money just because I left more than a factual experience. The staff manager calls me back and says “ the boss says to give you the boot” that’s how they talk to their patients and don’t have no compassion for taking your money or having unprofessional staff there. I wouldn’t be posting if they would have kindly gave my money back I was not alley or unprofessional at anytime I addressed them at all . As you read the reviews their consistent that should make upper management aware that it’s not the different patients it’s the staff. I just wanted to be treated the with respect the same way it was given so you can have the “ boss call me” There is nowhere to reply to your response ! if you are saying asking questions regarding my health and getting an answer that “ they don’t know” and me saying I need to make a review and report is a treat then I am Sorry that you feel that way. I explain to your staff manager when I came back and spoke with him that I was going to make a review ! There was never any moment at that particular time did he state well if you make a review we will not service you ! He told me he understood. Then went to the front to what I thought was a staff meeting to advise front about the unprofessionalism until I got back out to the front lobby and my accompany ask did I say something and I explain yes why he stated because there were in the front and closed the glass was laughing and joking about how I felt then looked at him to see if he heard them ! That’s when I made the review because not only did you not take my concern and addressed but you made fun of it . He could had said at the moment when I didn’t render services to say hey if you feel strongly about my staff I suggest you go somewhere else he purposely waited for me to pay and get derives for them to say we will not service you knowingly it would result in me not getting my funds (210) back ! I am prepared to go as high as I need to go (no treats intentioned ) to be heard and treated the way this was supposed to be handled. This was malicious intent for sure and could have all been avoided with professionalism! Thanks

Expect to wait the whole 4hours but they tell you this over the phone. Bring a book or blanket while your waiting. The staff here was so welcoming and no one even seemed bothered by how busy it was. This is not a place any female wants to be at but the staff make you feel like your doing exactly the right thing for your body. I was extremely nervous going into this but the staff and process and financial help really made it less stressful for me during a time like this. I truly appreciate you guys and what you stand for and do for women who truly need your help. Thank you from the bottom of my heart

A Preferred Women's Health Center's do not plan on an interruption in our services. We will continue to provide safe legal abortion services for all women! This law is unconstitutional and the ACLU has taken immediate action against the state of GA to defend A Women’s Right To Choose.

Hi Rebecca! Most women describe the in office procedure as pressure with menstrual type cramps, it only takes 3-5 minutes. Included in the price of the procedure is a light conscious sedation. We also have heavy sedation which is not necessary, but we do have it available for someone who may want something a little extra. The abortion pill is usually described as menstrual type cramps. I have seen lots of women who say it was like a normal period. Please feel free to call and talk to us 877-236-4639!

Is there an option to be sleep during the surgical procedure? And is it included with the cost of the abortion?

Kadeejah Rashada | Oct 15, 2019
A Preferred Woman's Health Center of Atlanta | Oct 15, 2019

Hi Kadeejah! We do offer DELUXE sedation for and patients who think they may need something a little extra to help them relax through the procedure. The intended purpose of DELUXE sedation is not to put you to sleep, but to relax, but a lot of women do fall asleep. The in-office procedure only takes 2-4 minutes, most women do very good with just a cervical block that is included in the price.
