The Amish are all Farmers, so there is not sort of a central "town" community. Their "Community" is dispersed across a big swath of Lancaster County. The best way to see that is: - Go to Google Maps. - Zoom out until you see all of Pennsylvania. - In the search box type "Amish school". - It will show you all their one room School houses. - This is the braod area in which they live. - This is where you will find their road-side produce stands, etc. If you're looking for one location, go to the strip of highway around Intercourse PA, both east and west. If you're looking for something specific, go to Google Maps and type something like "Amish food", or "Amish quilts", or "Amish furniture". Then, if you really want to see actual Amish families, Drive the area around particularly New Holland, On Any Sunday, from perhaps 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday i their big day off, get out on the buggies, go to church, go visit people, get dressed up, take a drive with the family on the wagon
Route 30 east beside Target they have tour's bus take you to see Amish house and school and stuff
Thanks everyone!
