Beautiful Park with so much space!

Love this place! From the creek, to the garden plots you can rent, to the campgrounds, and trails for hiking, and horseback riding, and the wildflower fields. Love it.

Lancaster does not have Christmas Trees and There are Trails
Some have grills. But mostly the pavilion
Yes But you need to bring Tent or Cabin and bring Long Cord.
Yes, I often see people fishing along the banks of both streams. The usual state regs apply.
There's one in south poole forge park
Yes
If it hasn't rained too recently, there's a beautiful out-of-the-way area down by the river. Park at Pavillion 22 and cross the field (the gate closing the access road will be on your right side as you walk away from the parking lot). At the back of the field, a path will lead you down hill. After passing some cement structures you will arrive at a river. Turn left where path curves right to follow the river bank & perhaps you will find a spot.
You can call the park office. I am not sure.
I would berify the stores around the Lancaster Central Market. There are a lot of oenuenas stores there that probably purdah help. For those that don't speak Spanish, they are looking for a place that will allow them to personalize a pool shirt.
There is no entry fee to the park. Whenever the pool is open, it is $7 per person and under the age of 3 is free
Yes. Nice park. A round crouds keep a leash on . Plenty of space to meditate
You will have to contact the parks office when they are open. 717 - 299 - 8220.
The park office will help you. Their address is 1050 Rockford Rd, Lancaster, PA 17602. Phone 717-299-8215. Rental rules are available on their web site.
A tax rebate? Yes, applications for 2018 start in 3(?) months, I think.
Not in the central park, no. For full details, see here: https://co.lancaster.pa.us/328/Hunting
The Amish are all Farmers, so there is not sort of a central "town" community. Their "Community" is dispersed across a big swath of Lancaster County. The best way to see that is: - Go to Google Maps. - Zoom out until you see all of Pennsylvania. - In the search box type "Amish school". - It will show you all their one room School houses. - This is the braod area in which they live. - This is where you will find their road-side produce stands, etc. If you're looking for one location, go to the strip of highway around Intercourse PA, both east and west. If you're looking for something specific, go to Google Maps and type something like "Amish food", or "Amish quilts", or "Amish furniture". Then, if you really want to see actual Amish families, Drive the area around particularly New Holland, On Any Sunday, from perhaps 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday i their big day off, get out on the buggies, go to church, go visit people, get dressed up, take a drive with the family on the wagon
Eleanor, Lancaster Central park is a local city park. No National Park admittance. It's wonderful and free to the public.
Lancaster County Central Park is 544 Acres. The total amount of acreage in the county park system is just over 2,000.
