I switched my S6 to my new Note8 the other day but did not switch the service at that time. I don't want to lose pics, texts and contact history I have on the S6 since that time. Can I do a master reset on the Note8 and redo smartswitch

If you need to move your content to the new phone from the old phone please come by the store and we'll be happy to do the switch for it for you. Just bring both devices. We have the capability to do it.

Just call tech support

Do you have a google account or a samsung account? If you do, backup your media and other stuff there. You will be happier knowing you did that as well. Also, the techs there are very good. They will do what ever they can to keep your data. You may also want to consider an SD card to transfer your stuff to.

If u do the master reset you'll lose everything on the Note 8. Bring your phones to the sprint store a nbn d let them transfer the data. Dont guess let then do it. Dont run the risk of losing sensitive information
