I have a question is this available for only long term stays? I'm asking because my husband has an app at sloan on the 23rd and we live 6 hrs away.. his app isn't till 3pm and that would be to much for him for us to drive down and home on the same day
It is free. The social worker at whatever hospital you are having treatment at will set this up for you. Ask them to do this. I stayed their for seven weeks. Most people stay longer. Great place. You can even have a family member stay with you as a caretaker.
Contact the social worker as no charge, but I believe you must meet certain criteria. They do have a wish list of needed items at the front desk. Wonderful staff and such a great relief for us. 😊
