You can bring food just not on the pool deck.
Drinks and water and packed lunches. No glass.
Just be discreet about it and you'll be fine, noone is checking once you're in the pool unless you are obnoxiously rolling out a feast for 8 on your pool chairs.
It's like the movies.. Do you go into the movies with food from the outside?? No they want you to buy there over priced food.
