Not easy to answer to that question without specific county name. Each jail throughout GA has their own process. It can be as quick as 30 minutes and as long as 24 hours. Fulton can be up to 24 hrs. DeKalb is 12-24 hrs. Gwinnett can be up to 12 hrs. And Cobb is 1-1/2. Anything quicker is lucky. At 2nd Chance our #1 priority is getting bond signed as soon as it possibly can on our end. Unfortunately there are court and jail obstacles that very often cause delays but we try to help when we can there.

I was told anywhere from 5 minutes to 24 hrs, I left 2 Chance bonding 5 hrs ago, I just called the jail and they said my husband has been brought down to release, so should be anytime

The jail system takes their time processing. I paid a bond around 1pm,with my experience the defendant was released about 24hours later.
