Just be aware that I took my cat in to be spayed and they allowed him to escape from his carrier and take off into the woods behind the shelter.. They never attempted to find him. My husband and I had to stand outside, by the corral, and call our cat until he finally came out of the woods and we were able to bring him home. Not sure this shelter is the best place to take a loved pet..
I don't believe any shelter is 100% no kill, but this one gives pets more chance than most and prides itself on that, which they should. Nice shelter.
Found a dog on the Highway and brought him Kept him for 2 or 3 days, I called this place and had Them to help find the owners, They Kept giving Me the run around to call this place or that place,I believe I called them like 3 time's and asked of they had anything on Buddy? Nothing, ,come to Find out, The owner went To this place a few day's prior to the few days before I even called and asked them and so I went On and gave them the info on Buddy and wear He was, He slept with me,lol...adorable guy I fell in love with him, And cried a little bit, We got attached to Easy..lol.I kept the guys Number, Because I wanted to keep seeing Him, But my hubby said I couldn't, so I will never See buddy ever again,😢😢, I got the run arounds,, .But I hear they do take care of the Pet's there, I had my 2 heelers fixed so we didn't Have any babies walking Around, They would've been some pretty pup's tho, But I know where I can go get more if and when I want them, love the breed, Good luck,
Yes, they're over 90 percent no kill. Only if deemed necessary, if the animal has attacked another animal or person and they can't find a no kill sanctuary that would take them or they are very ill.
Yes it is. The only way they put them down is if they get very aggressive. Its so sad and hard to take animals there. It is a no kill shelter.
