Lots of WWII information here, I including some Combat Engineer history, but nothing specific to any 1 unit or organization that I saw.

Nothing unit specific, but I do recall some signage mentioning combat engineers, not sure if it was WWII

Unknown. Seriously doubt threy are that specific. My Uncle, Frank Lonergan, was a combat engineer. Not sure if he was with the 291st.
