If you have an appointment than you can get your Real ID. If not than you have to make an appointment.
I had to book an appointment online back in September, because they're set up to keep everyone distanced. when I was there yesterday, they had someone at the door to confirm appointments, 1 person inside to tell you where to wait (4 spaced out chairs) and 3 employees to process forms, and a guard by the exit.
