No, seating is not assigned and so far there are no plans for that. I'm sorry, there is absolutely no assigned seating for a regular concert here and with extremely few exceptions such as the benefit on 12-11-18 there's only 1 ticket price. Actually if an act has a VIP ticket it would be a different price but again there are not assigned seats. It's 1st come 1st served. Much more info on the website and in the FAQ
You are correct it is not assign seating but that is one of the best things about the Birchmere if you get there early enough you will be sitting in the front row. When I wanna sit in the front row I typically get there between 330 and 4 bring a book to readers always fun music people to hang out with and talk to.
