How do I obtain a duplicate DD-214 for my husband, a retired Navy Vet, who just passed away. He asked to have military honors at his graveside, but is being buried in a non-military burial site. I have been unable to find his DD-214.

With a short amount of time. I can suggest going to Va.gov website as start or call your local VA Hospital and talk to someone in Records. They would be able to guide you to the right place. I'm sorry for your loss! Hope this helps
