Pets are allowed as long as they are kept on a leash and you clean up after them. However there are a plethora of cats that roam freely all over the park. If your dog is at all leary of them or if the cats feel threatened by your dog, it can be a major issue. I've seen dogs chase the cats dragging their owners. Not a pleasant experience for them I'm sure. Just use caution.
