Buy in advance unless you want to do a time share presentation. If you do the presentation then the tickets are cheaper.

Buy them at the ticket counter at gate of the disnet ticket and transportation and ticket
The hotel does not provide
You can buy them in advance or you can buy them when you arrive at Orlando Airport in one of the Disney stores. That's what I did this week. The hotel does not provide magic bands.
