Continuance of my previous post: the owner of the pitbull that bit me is out of town. I was given a tetanus shot in the ER, but my CONCERN is that i don't know or have the history of the dogs shot records to find out if it has any medical issues. 😠

I would ask a doctor at an urgent care or er instead of waiting till they open tomorrow morning. Those kinds of issues are pretty time sensitive

Hi, The AZ Dept of Health is more for humans. It's the duty of the dog owner and the victim to contact Maricopa County Animal Control. Plus animal control can assist in hold, test and provide more information. For further help in the matter, I would suggest a community legal center or calling a lawyer. Every situation is different, but if you need immediate help call 911 or proceed to a medical facility.
