You're going to the wrong place. A number of the staff at this location are unfriendly, uncaring, ineffecient/slow, and biased. Not everyone who works here falls into this, but some of those in supervisory positions do, so trickle down more than likely has taken place. After speaking with DPS headquarters in Austin, I decided to go to another location and the staff there were friendly, helpful, worked well together (i.e. a lot faster), and professional (not prejudiced/biased). Seriously, I spent three days in a row at this location, waited 2-3 hours each time, and got nowhere. I spent 30 minutes at another location in Ft. Worth, no appointment, just walked in, got what I needed and got out of there. Just go to a different DPS center. It'll likely make a world of difference.
where did you get the better service Mr. Charlie?
Other states, walk in, 3 peices of mail, I'd, soc security card bam nine bucks! Here... "ok sir we need you to have 6 peices of mail.... ok you have to have a birth certificate. . Oh you have to have an appointment sir" .... really looking forward to what they tell me the fourth time going in there 😮🔫
The line at 6:15 is almost 50 people...
I read online that one of the reasons it takes such a long time to get a DL or ID is the verification of one's identity.
Can I go to the dps to make an appointment I tried to making one online but it wouldn’t let me
