Why do you guys con people by removing their oil change reminder stickers and resetting their car to show a maintenance light?

Mr. Knudson. I saw your comments and wanted to apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused you. Although I was out of town at the time, I did dig in a bit to see what the issue was. According to my manager on duty you did come in about twenty minutes before close. Breaking from the usual process of checking you in, creating a work order and then scheduling the work with a technician, he gave the keys to one of the employees and asked them to get a tech started while he finished the paperwork, etc. The tech was informed that you wanted an oil change rather than a state inspection. He pulled the car in, removed the oil sticker and reset the light (which is typical behavior). He was then informed when the work order came out that it was for an inspection. The rest you already know. I had our manager attempt to contact you to explain but he has been unable to contact you. Again sorry for the mix up. The was no intent to deceit as we have no motive to remove your oil sticker.
