State of the art equipment an not too crowded. Plenty of space so not bumping into each other. Sanitary wipes to clean sweat off after others.

Used to be a good place to workout. Now it's always too busy and it doesn't help that the personal trainers think they own the gym and block off sections of it for their clients to workout. Even when their clients aren't there. Lots of middle school kids now who don't actually lift weights but will camp on a free bench for 15 minutes. Went to this gym for the last two years but it's gone downhill. Officially canceled and joined elsewhere. For anyone who actually wants to workout, look elsewhere. You'll never be able to finish a full workout.

It's a BEAUTIFUL establishment to do multiple activities and have a wonderful time for the whole family.

I don't really know what was happening today but someone(s) was or were smoking pot in the men bathroom upstairs, that's really not acceptable at all since we have teens and kids that also come to the Rec to have fun......crazy

You can pay a daily fee to play. Or they have monthly and yearly memberships.
They have some discounts for seniors, youth, and students but did not see any for disability. A senior is 50+.
If they are a mom resident the day pass is likely $5. I don't recall ever seeing anything on the website or in my membership info about any kind of guest pass.
No they do not. You'll need to verify if you pay LE taxes. Some addresses like will say LE but if they do not pay taxes for the town you will be considered a non-resident.
Yes they will be open memorial day. 6am to 5pm.
No. They have applied but Silver Sneakers didn't accept them. They plan to apply again. However, you can join the Senior Center for $5 and there are free group exercise classes for Senior Center members several times a week. You probably could stay awhile afterward to work out.
Yes you need a adult. Not any adult will do, only a legal guardian or parent. So an adult brother or sister will not work.
There are lots of cleaning materials: wipes, towels, hand gels, etc. Every time I've been in the weight room an employee is also walking around cleaning surfaces. So much cleaner than any gym I've seen
Yes there are!
Yes $5
$25 For oak point residents, not sure about LE.
The price depends on if you are a resident of little elm or not. Although my address is showing I live in little elm, I do not pay little elm city utilities. I do not get a bill from the city of little elm, I'm in a mud district and therefore considered not to be a resident and have to pay more. For just myself, I had to pay like $230 or $250 /year. I dont know what it would be monthly. Example: a day pass for local resident ( if you are not a member but want to use the facility) it will cost you $3 for a non-resident its$5.
Call the front desk and they can direct you to someone! That number is (972) 731-3277.
You can learn from non-swimmer to proficient in less than a year with good lessons and practice. I do not know how long to expert. I have been swimming for over 47 years and I am not wxpert. But I am very experienced and proficient.
The LE rec center is currently building an aquatic center. There will be many more aquatic activities once it is finished
They have an awesome kids area they can use while you work out. They don't have any classes for that age if that's what you mean.
1 person, not little elm resident is $255 annually. No idea about family
The Senior (50+) rates for Little Elm residents is $15 a month.
Not yet...there are plans in the future for a pool.
15 student 20 for adults with tons of other classes and discounts associated with membership.
