There is no food served at the gardens. There are plenty of fast food restaurants around the gardens. The tour last about an hour long and I found it very interesting and informative. This place was built on lots of sweat by one man over decades of his life. I found that the cost of $20 was OK, I really liked Forestiere Underground Gardens. It is up to you to decide if it's worth $60 for 3 people to go.
There's so food but you can eat before or after in the surrounding restaurants. And yes it was worth it to my husband and I. The founds go back into the restorations of the garden so that it can be seen by so many more for years to come... To experience one person's hard work gave me motivation of all his hard work... his ideas and craftsmanship of it all was absolutely phenomenal.
There’s no food served there. It’s all about understanding and appreciating one person’s vision, architecture and principles behind the structure. You would pay for the guided tour and all the information.
