Born late records off race street in fort worth. I can dig there forever.
I was just about to ask this!!! I'm from San Antonio and I just want a place where I can freely browse death metal and deathcore (fun fact, both of these are their own seperate genres!) CD's or cassettes without judgement due to me being a woman and what have you. It's been 3 years since this question was answered... so maybe, just MAYBE... there's some brutal death metal and deathcore-related materials there. I'm planning to take a trip soon - so please keep me posted on their indie label/local CD selections for brutal death metal and deathcore! :)
Their metal selection isn't great but it has gotten better. Its mostly new, sealed, metal releases. I have found some pretty neat stuff here tho. I've gotten a DMM pressing of ...And Justice For All, an alternate art version of Dopesmoker by Sleep (the one with the horse), Death is this Communion by High on Fire, and a wicked copy of Exodus' Fabulous Disaster that includes a bunch of radio station promos. There's cool things if you are willing to dig, but they don't come around very often.
Absolutely dismal. If you want a really amazing selection of metal CDs and vinyl, check out the CD Warehouse in Arlington.
This store is really good if you're looking for back in the day music. A lot of stuff from the 40's, 50's,60' and more. I can spend hours in there looking for stuff from the 70's.
