Why do the chicken thighs have so much skin and no meat it's the worst part of the chicken they sale

The skin is most of what gives Popeyes Chicken it's flavor. But to answer your question, here in USA, chickens are bred to have large breasts and wings... not so much large thighs and legs.

I don't know to this question, but Popeyes thighs are my second favorite part of the chicken next to the breast
