Yes, it is a Catholic hospital. Mass is celebrated here and communion is offered to patients. Presence is the name of the entity that binds St Joseph to the other hospitals in our health system. The name "Presence" signifying the omnipresence of God Our name will soon change from Presence to Amita as that is the new entity that we are partnering with but the hospital will remain St Joseph and be Catholic.
