You can actually get a day pass for the water activities! Although we came from far and stayed on the property for 4 days it was great!! Hope this helped

That's a great question, and yes they are right. U can get a day pass but I do recommend getting a room at least for a night. It is a better experience for everyone, they have several other activities. When the water park closes down there is still plenty of fun for the whole family.
