Despite good reviews on this place, I had a not so good experience with repair here. I picked up 2 Singer machines I had repaired here a little over a year ago. 1 has worked fine, the other I took out of the bag a week ago and couldn’t get it to picket up the bobbin thread. It had not been sewed on since I picked it up and the repair person looked at it and said it was out of time. Even though it was still in their original bag they put it in after repair he was pretty assertive it was fixed when it left their shop and he would have to charge me to retime it. That wouldn’t of been too bad and I reluctantly agreed, seeing as I wasn’t getting anywhere with arguing but the big issue now is that it would take 2-3 weeks to fix it. Unfortunately we don’t live in the area anymore, having moved 4 hours south. I was in town for 3 days and explained this all to him to no avail. So I have a machine that apparently wasn’t fixed, made a special trip in to resolve and it would require another trip in the future to pick up. I will now be looking for a repair shop in Austin to get it done. Surprising because their reputation and reviews have all talked about how good their service is… hopefully this was the anomaly.

Wife and I bought her first sewing machine here. Very friendly and incredibly helpful. Best place for a beginner to go and ask questions.

Sew It Up in Hurst.
I believe service starts at $109, and then whatever parts and repairs are needed, that is extra. I took my machine there and haven't gotten it back yet because he has been slammed. He said it would be 5 weeks.
They do work on Brother's.
No, I don't. Their classes are for embroidery and quilting.
I had my singer serviced, expert service, give them a call, I did see machines for sale, new and used
It all depends on availability of parts. I think sewing world is great. They will give you an honest answer about fixing it
