Yes, they do, but you must be a Grand Prairie resident in order to surrender your pet here. As stated before, they are not a no-kill shelter, but that does not mean your pet will have a "few days" long death sentence being surrendered here. Owner surrendered pets go up for adoption IMMEDIATELY and usually find homes faster than strays. Please be sure to fill out a "Pet Personality Profile" if you do bring your dogs here. Every bit of information about them helps them find the perfect new home!

You can take your dog in and surrender it. You have to sign it over and if they are full, your dog may end up being put to sleep after a few days. They try to adopt them out but that's not a guarantee. It's not a no-kill shelter.
