If the pull through sites on the lake are available, they're gorgeous. My husband wasn't a fan of the noise from the waves, it was really active while we were there, but I would book again. We had 32. If you do get a pull through in the lake, bring all leveling gear you have.
We drove through and the sites are all pretty small. Also no electric or running water. It is a rustic campground.
If by "water sites" you mean hookups - there are none. If you mean water-front, better reserve now!
