This was my first beach stop on my fall trip. I was surprised about the rocky beaches.Nice playground and lots of people looking for unique stones (I didn't have any luck). Sunset happened over waste treatment plant... not very scenic place for sunsets.

608 meters (665 yards) from the far end of south pier, just past the light house to the corner of the channel by the Beaver Island Ferry dock.
The Lighthouse is on an enclosed Pier at a park on the Lake.
