Try contacting Hands Helping Paws or Safe Haven rescues. They are on Facebook and Google. Please update once you find a place to take them. ☺
Second Chance is not open to the public every day of the week. Some days are for cleaning and disinfecting the runs where animals live. Staff also make trips to smaller shelters to find the most adoptable pets. Check the website of Second Chance and you'll find the days it's open and the hours. The time it's closed really is devoted to animal care. I have 2 great cats that came from Second Chance. Second Chance does not accept animals from the public. If you need to surrender a pet, go to the Norman Animal Shelter. It, too, has a website with info about hours. It's a great place and takes wonderful care of its animals.
They dont take animals from the public. However if you are adopting they encourage you to bring your current pets to see if they will be a fit.
