Although I personally didn't go in My wife went in to get her license renewed and was thoroughly impressed with the professional courtesy of the people who worked there. They were kind they were patient they were understanding even in the face of those who became a bit irate over something that the tag agency had no control over still they maintained their poise and remained courteous through it all. My wife made it known that she has no desire to go anywhere but Lanoy Tag Agency in the future.

Sara knows everything too do with cars, license, insurance, notary, drivers license, plates, tag, voter card, and titles. Sara is a great person and customer quality specialist. Sure answered all my questions beautifully despite me not knowing what I even needed to do. Sara is patient in an environment where she has to take care of several people's needs in a short time span. Sara is also knowledgeable on subjects outside of the Tag Agency such as name changes, social security cards, and knows where to refer you for those agencies.

The laws have changed and it takes time. Just like our birth certificates come from another state. We used to be able to get here in oklahoma. You used to get your drivers license immediately now it is sent in the mail. Their are other tag agencies that may not be as busy.
You use the paper temporary ID till your card comes in. If you do not get the real ID it says it is only a state ID when you get it. You have to have "real" ID for identification to get into anything that is a federal agency. So if you have a passport or military ID, you don't have to get it and if you get it when you are not renewing then it's cheaper. You have till 2023 to get it.
You can renew your license but it would be best if you went there early in the morning because they only serve the first 25 customers

Like others have said they are there around 7 or even before (due to covid demand) and will give you a time slot to come back later.
