I am going with two kids,12 and 16. Can I do this hike near sunset and come down after dark so that I can see night lights? Is it safe?

there is a small western diamondback rattle snake den here, i would not hike here in the dark. i snapped a picture of one, i got really close to it but didn't bother it. i would hike here daily. wanted to buy anti venom for the medical kit i bring with me just in case someone else got bit but couldn't afford it. ($2,000)

I would at least bring flashlights, good boots, water, etc. Can be difficult hike during the day if you're not careful.

It's not safe at all, especially in the dark. I live one street off the mountain and have hiked it over 50 times and I still have slips and scraps. People have died on this mountain over the years while hiking at night.
