You can rent clubs at the course or at a golf store like PGA Tour Superstore if you don't already have golf clubs. If you have golf clubs, and they are more than 8-years old, do yourself a favor and rent / test new clubs. You should definitely take lessons before coming to the course, especially a course like Talking Stick that can play long by resort course standards. Talking Stick pros offer lessons or for experienced golfers the Vision 54 golf school is based at Talking Stick. You can also take lessons at other non-golf course locations like Top Golf, PGA Tour Superstore or GolfTec (all of these locations would have clubs for you to use as a part of lessons).
A reservation is best. See if they have someone there that can give you a lesson before you play
You always need a tee time, you can't just walk in and play golf
It is best to get a tee time, but they will try to work you in.
No.
Yes it is best to make reservations.
Call Pia and Lynn
Not necessarily, but you will enjoy yourself much more if you take a lesson or two first, and if you play your first round on a day and time when the course isn't busy. Call the pro shop and discuss your plans with them in advance - they will help make your experience more enjoyable.
