Lease ends May 31, and we are not renewing. Our landlord has had maintenance come almost every day for 2+ weeks to perform improvements to help the unit sell better while creating clutter and dust for us. Can we ask for a rent reduction for April?

Your landlord is legally allowed to be granted access IF they notify you 48 hours in advance. You can always ask for an abatement, but understand they don’t have to grant you one unless they have illegally entered your unit.
