If it wanted to order something but didn't want to run the risk of it being stolen from my doorstep how can i go about shipping it here and picking it up after?

You could ask for UPS to not leave it on your doorstep and just notify you that it is available for pickup at the local customer service center. Contact them ahead of time for that arrangement.

Have it sent to the post office or UPS store

I know the person receiving the package can make a ups account and then they can pick up the package at any ups store/facility
