Yes, but the speed and stability leave a lot to be desired.
To David Brown: There are several things that can affect your speed test results. Your modem, router, internet connected devices and the server you are connecting to. Try connecting your modem directly to a gaming system or pc and run a speed test using a Washington D.C. or NYC server for most accurate results. I have 25mb and get 22-25mb download every time I test. If you are getting less than the speed you are subscribed to when testing while directly connected to your modem there is a problem and you need to contact Adams Cable and get it fixed.
Why IS Adams Cable the only one around. Can’t someone else provide cable and internet services for us?
I paid for 50 Mbps and at maximum I've peaked at around 42, but the average is about 35. The stability of their download speed is very unreliable (their upload speed is surprisingly consistent), but sometimes when you don't have many other options, anything beats a blank (like in my area, where the fastest Verizon speed is 3 Mbps down / 0.75 Mbps upload for $85/mo).
