Is there a petting zoo? And is there A gift shop , if so.. is it expensive or cheap things inside???

Yes of course there is petting section within the zoo. It is on the right when you enter from west gate. There is a big gift shop which is not so expensive.

There is a new baby's suction in the main Zoo. Sometimes they have monkeys and small animals available for petting. That is free. The farm in the zoo is on the south end and has typical farm animals. There is a large gift shop in the center of the main Zoo. Prices aren't too high. Don't forget Zoo admission is totally free. The most expensive part of the day is food and parking.

There is a farm that is in the North Western side of the park. The rest of the park is free but i dont know about the farm.

Theres a farm with cows and chickens and its chicago so things wont be cheap but im sure you can find something in your budget
