There is no Metra stop at Armitage or Clybourn. I believe you both are thinking of the CTA "L" train stops. If you are coming in from the north u will have to take the Metra to Union Station. Once there you take an uber, cab, or multiple trains and buses from there. Its not that convenient from downtown. It would prob save you time and money to just drive Wisconsin.

Get off at Clybourn.Take the #73 Armitage cta bus to clark and the zoo is one 1/2 block east of armitage/clark

What is the number of the CTA bus for Armitage? There is a stop for Clybourn. I was on the Metra yesterday. But, thank you for your input.

I am not sure what the name of the Metra stop is called, BUT it is right at Armitage Ave. From there you can take the CTA Armitage bus East to Clark St for Lincoln Park Zoo.
