I dont think so. I think 2+ they get more out of it
There are definitely things for a 1 year old to enjoy but it might not be worth the price of admission. I think its best for kids ages 2-7
I personally wouldn't recommend it, certainly not on a weekend and definitely not if your 1 year old doesn't walk. Not worth the money. Try the skokie exploratorium instead.
Once your 1 year old is walking TAKE THEM! My 14 month old had an absolute blast. There was so much she could do. She played in the water area, had a ton of fun in the music section playing drums, played with tons of the exhibits, climbed on all the foam building blocks, played with the duplos, read books, and more. We were there for HOURS and closed the place down. It is expensive so we opted to get the membership as we'll be going many times throughout the year.
Not great for babies
not really
Kids under 1 are free. There definitely is stuff for kids under 1 to enjoy and experience. There are also a few areas with rubber mats on the floor where infants can crawl around and interact with stuff.
How into Blippi are they?
I dont thonk there is quite enough to do for a 1 y/old
The youngest child I saw there when I went was about a year and a half. There are some Hands-On tactile things that little ones can do. Banging on the drums in the music room etcetera. For the reasonable $12 entry fee, I would take my one-year-old, if I had one.
It is good for infants; there are areas designated for young kids to play. It gets crowded but it's intriguing.
Probably not worth the trip to it, unless perhaps you are very close.
There are a few areas specifically for babies.
