What do I do if I want to visit and just see the temple at my own expense

Temple Square, as well as many of the surrounding buildings are open to the public and free to enter. Tours are offered as well. Parking would be your only expense. Be aware that the temple itself is reserved for church members, but you may take photos of the exterior. Have a nice visit!

It's free to walk the grounds and enter many of the buildings. The temple is reserved for members of the church, but go to the visitors center to check out the pictures and model of the temple to see what its like. Enjoy!

It is free to walk the grounds or to visit the Visitor Center. Depending on where you park, pricing varies. (Not too expensive though)
