This is my current church, so I'm a bit biased. Nevertheless, most everyone here are nice people, and Bishop Glende is involved in the community. Most importantly, though, they recognize the existence of 1 Corinthians 15:29 and 1 John 4:12.

I have attended this Institute for nearly 5 years, so I will attempt to give a comprehensive review of this location. This is among the largest LDS institute of religion buildings, designed primarily for college students and twentysomethings. The building’s design reflects this, with numerous alcoves to study at, tables and couches to eat and socialize on, and a few recreation rooms including a free-to-use Nintendo Switch. There is a deli with the most reasonable price on campus. The environment is always friendly and open, with atriums and classrooms lit primarily by natural lighting. And this is saying nothing of the religious aspect of the building. The teachers are among the nicest and gentlest you’ll meet, probably because their aim is to appeal to younger people who are dealing with collegiate studies, new work and social lives, and other big life changes. The classes are offered on various topics relevant to Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint membership, including studies of the Book of Mormon, Bible, and other sacred texts. There are classes offered on modern-day issues and family life. There is a weekly devotional-lecture featuring a speaker of U of U or LDS renown. There’s a weekly podcast class open to any interested. There’s also two choirs, considered by the Institute Director to be the “jewel of the institute.” Whether or not you are religious, the building and it’s activities are open to you. They often host game nights, events with free food, and dances open to any who come. No one will check to see if you are a member of the LDS church when you enter the building. And for music students, there are a variety of open classrooms with pianos to practice on. All in all, the Institute is a valuable asset to the University of Utah. It is where a lot of student life happens, and it is all free to the public.

It'll be a great place and great experience being right by campus and close to housing. It's also where most local YSA wards meet.
Minimum age is 18 and graduated from High School, but i don't think there's a maximum age.
