I'm trying to find a local women's shelter to donate old (still good) makeup and unused soaps/lotions from gifts I didn't want. do you guys take stuff like that/know of anywhere that does?

Contact the Women and Children in Crisis. They are the local Women's Shelter.

Yes, if you call the Center for Women and Children in Crisis (801 377-5500 ), they will tell you if they are in need and if so, you can bring it to our office. Sometimes Food and Care Coalition will need that as well (801 373-1825 ). It's important to call first though! Sometimes they just received a shipment of a certain product and temporarily can't take donations of it.
