When we called to make the arrangements,we were told that the person being buried had to live in NJ for a least half of his life. It's a state military cemetery and that was a requirement.
I have no idea bud... My brother served 4yrs USN during the Desert Storm. He's buried there, has 2 bronze stars and a few other medals. But he was low ranking, nothing special in regards to military. I guess it can't hurt to ask someone there. My folks and the funeral home handled all the arrangements so I'm afraid I can't give much of an answer beyond that
