New York City Department of Motor Vehicles or DMV as we call it, has many locations around NYC Metropolitan areas for your convenience. If you want to change your address, you must bring proof of residence. It's that simple. I recommend the DMV around Battery Park, Downtown Manhattan; located around the corner from Bulls and Bears (Wall Street area). It took me around 15 minutes to get a copy of my driver license. They also have great customer service and very helpful staff. Then again, check your location area for your convenience.
It is given the impression by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles License Express at 145 West 30th Street that it is a full service site and will do everything a non express NYS DMV will do. However, in order not to waste time and money going to this DMV, check their website or call them and inquire what the procedure is and if they do indeed take care of Registration along with a change of address. Also inquire what kind of documents is required in order to finalize your transaction.
