@ Chris Feistner, I think you meant it knocked the sinking of the Titanic off the front pages. WW1 hadn’t begun yet in 1912. WW1 began in 1914.
Visited recently. I didn't experience too much but others in my group said they did. Johnny the guy who operates the place says it's like that, some days are different and some people are different in terms of experiences. Still a fun overnight deal.
I just visited and am usually sensitive to spooky stuff. The feelings I got were just extreme sadness not anger or anything like that but it was like visiting a graveyard for me. If you're in the area it's worth a visit for history if nothing else. (Note: this is a CASH ONLY business, ****/*****)
It is interesting historically. Murders never solved. It was such a big story it knocked WW1 off the front pages of world newspapers. Literally. So it is interesting to go and see about it. Not much scarey that i knkw of. I am from there
