Yes,there are nicks in the ceiling of the parent's room. Eerie feeling in all of the rooms. I've visited 3 times. My camera somehow deleted my photos one time.
I’ve been to the house on the 101st anniversary to the day of the murders and of course, they were closed, so I didn’t see the inside. However, I’ve seen pictures. I think some of that is for show, but I could be wrong. I’ve seen an original photograph taken shortly after the murders when two people were reenacting for which I’m assuming was for investigative purposes. There was patterned wallpaper on the walls and not the blue paint you see now. If that axe mark on the wall of the parents’ room is real, then the only way I can figure it, is they removed the wallpaper and painted over it, and over the years, the paint sort of disintegrated over the deep gash. Remember, what we see now is what the Linns have done to restore the house in 1991, who knows what the house looked like inside in the previous decades.
Yes there are still marks on the wall upstairs where the parents slept at the top of the stairs.
OH MY GOD, I went to that house once, but they wouldn't let me in the parents' room, as it was getting dark and we already had to leave. So I could never see the ax marks Thank you very much for your answer, Déborah.
